倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院的日本研究文學(xué)碩士課程是歐洲最全面的課程。 您可以選擇涵蓋日本從前現(xiàn)代到現(xiàn)在的歷史，涉及社會(huì)和政治科學(xué)以及人文科學(xué)的模塊。參加此課程的學(xué)生來自許多國家，擁有各種各樣的學(xué)術(shù)背景。 有些人已經(jīng)在日本學(xué)習(xí)或生活過，希望拓寬自己的知識(shí)或理解。有些人希望將之前的培訓(xùn)重點(diǎn)放在該地區(qū)，而有些人則來自日本或其他東亞國家，希望從不同的文化和學(xué)術(shù)傳統(tǒng)的角度研究日本。日語知識(shí)不是該課程的必要條件。但是，語言模塊是受歡迎的選擇。 倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院擁有自己的日本研究中心，并與東英吉利大學(xué)共享圣斯伯里日本藝術(shù)與文化研究所。學(xué)生可以參加中心定期舉辦的研討會(huì)，國際演講者會(huì)在研討會(huì)上介紹他們關(guān)于日本研究各個(gè)方面的研究成果。
